School Board Enjoys Haitian Heritage Month Presentations
In commemoration of Haitian Heritage Month, prior to the School Board meeting Board members, staff and visitors enjoyed performances by the Morningside Elementary School chorus and by dancers from Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School and Natural Bridge, Little River, Miami Shores and Shadowlawn elementary schools. As the meeting got under way, a group of students from Little River Elementary School entertained the audience with a recitation titled "The Making of the Haitian Flag."
