Public is encouraged to come out and enjoy a day filled with activities, performances, traditional Haitian food and more. Participants in the procession include: Haitian based organizations, members from Muslim Mosque # 29, elected officials, Miami Edison High school Band, City of Miami Police Department and City of Miami Fire-Rescue. Other talent participating in the day’s festivities include Top-Vice, Sosyete Koukouy Dance Troup, Mecca AKA Grimo, and the brant sounds of RARA Lakay band. Organizations participating in the celebration include City of Miami Film, Arts, Culture and Entertainment, Miami Parks and Recreation, NET offices, Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade County Public schools.
